Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a screenshot into the tool?
Three ways: press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) to paste from your clipboard, drag and drop an image file onto the canvas, or click “Upload Image” to pick a file.
What annotation tools are available?
Ten tools: Select/Move, Arrow, Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Text, Numbered Steps, Blur/Redact, Highlight, and Freehand Draw. Each has customizable color, stroke width, and opacity.
How does the blur tool work?
Select the Blur tool and drag over the area you want to hide. It pixelates the underlying image so sensitive info (passwords, emails, etc.) is unreadable in the export.
Can I undo mistakes?
Yes! Press Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo. You can also use the undo/redo buttons in the toolbar. Up to 50 undo levels are stored.
