How are books calculated from pages?
The tool divides your total pages by the average book length for each genre. For example, if you have read 3,000 pages and choose "Fiction," the average fiction book is about 320 pages, so that equals approximately 9.4 books.
What genres are available?
Fiction (320 pages), Non-Fiction (250 pages), Mystery/Thriller (300 pages), Science Fiction (350 pages), Romance (275 pages), Fantasy (400 pages), Biography (350 pages), Self-Help (220 pages), History (375 pages), Young Adult (250 pages), Children's (150 pages), and an All Genres average (295 pages).
Where do the quotes come from?
The tool includes 30 curated quotes from famous authors including Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, Jane Austen, Stephen King, Oscar Wilde, and many more. A random quote appears each time you calculate.
What is the book stack visualization?
As your book count increases, a colorful stack of books grows on screen. Each book in the stack is a different color. The stack caps at 30 visual books but the actual count can be much higher.
